| Torillian said: lol....I'm afraid you just don't like JRPG's Rocketpig. Those things just happen and you get used to it. Hell in Xenosaga I had like 2 hour section where I played nothing, I had no input into the game whatsoever. And you know what....it was AWESOME. I don't think I could come up with a JRPG that would make you happy....and I've played a good number. |
I agree here. Lost Odyssey is great for someone who likes that kind of game. Alot of the reviewers that reviewed Lost Odyssey and gave it 5/10 were probably big FPS fans. I share some of Rocketpig's sentiments about FPS games. They are about 95% the same game over and over. When Halo 3 launched, I was very close to selling my Xbox 360 after playing that garbage (IMO) for a week. I'm glad I kept it. Frankly, the only thing that's convincing me to keep the 360 is Lost Odyssey and other jRPGs.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
