the vita sections in stores in Scotland (that is the few stores I've seen in Scotland that sell the vita) are small and in some cases not very noticeable Compared to the 3ds which has a much larger section. so why would the average consumer buy a vita when there seems at first glance to be few games for it.


overall it's a lack of exposure which is killing the vita in the uk (and the ridiculous price of memory cards as well) if sony was willing to go full force with the vita more advertising, get more first and third party exclusives on the vita, and a price drop on memory cards they would have a chance to do alright with the vita but for some reason they refuse to actually try, I believe it's probably because of the huge focus they are putting on the ps4 has made them ignore the vita

 

Oh one last thing by "exclusives" i do not mean indie exclusives the average consumer ie. parents and kids just look in stores for games and don't do much research so you need physical copies of games
