Yes, I knew this even before the XBone sales started to fade. Smartphones/tablets/PCs are not only eating up the handheld market, but also the console market slowly but surely. The huge launches of the PS4 and One had to do with pent up demand from a long previous generation and demand in particular for the PS4 which may allow it to top the PS3 (but not the PS2). Now reality is setting in, at least for the One. And we know that the Wii U never got the 3DS like comeback and likely never will. So it's generation 6 again, with Sony domination and a close battle for second.
