But I still do not agree with this assessment after playing games like Flower and Journey I think anyone who considers video games as not being art is foolish. But that is just my opinion.... What do you guys think!? |
Not just Journey. Battlefield 4 is art, Demon's Souls is art, and "Shoot em' Up" (A movie) is art. As long as someone created something with a little creativity, it is art. In fact even the word "Art" itself is not even officially defined in many cases.
Your girlfriend's art teacher is self righteous and likes to think she is better than other people (Surprise). Idk I can't see any other way someone could say that. Some people are so judgemental about things they know nothing about...
