Why always chibi?!?!?!??!!?!

I mean just look at the artwork and then the generic fat toddlers..... 


Its like seing this on the cover or whatever




And then getting this ingame....



I will probably buy the game anyway but still I hate chibi (to many chibi jrpgs....)
