What if Nintendo acquires a lot of dev teams.?

i think nintendo already wanted to buy studios, but the studios didnt want to join nintendo because they would lose the liberty to produce to other platforms.
the maximum they can do is to pay for a game or its exclusivity, like sonics, bayonetta, w101, hyrule warriors.
