Well this thread was pointless.

It's pointless because the first 4 people responding disagree? Give it time.

What exactly is bringing you to this conclusion besides MGS V:GZ being 720p 60fps? Even at those specs I don't see anything close on Wii U. Until I see a full life-like game that looks as good as Ryse, Wii U is gonna be that small gap ahead of last gen.

It's hard to do direct comparisons since many people believe third party Wii U games have very little effort put into them. That leaves us to comparing exclusives. Take X. It looks great and is an open world game just like Ground Zeros. Some Wii U fans believe it'll be in 1080p at 60fps, but let's just assume it's 720p at 30fps. If visuals between the two games are pretty close technically, then 720p 60fps Ground Zeros on XBONE would be significantly closer to Wii U's X than the 1080p 60fps PS4 version of GZ. If the rumors are true that the PS4 version of MGS has a better framerate, than the XBONE port is even closer to X. 720p locked 30fps is close to 720p 60fps with dips in terms of power.

Comparing an exclusive to a cross gen multiplat? Nice.

It's a cross gen multiplat on both XBONE and PS4, so that pretty much factors out actually. If I was just comparing Wii U and XBONE in a vacuum then yeah it'd be an unfair comparison.

A cross gen multiplat being compared with an 8th gen exclusive that probably won't be out until 2015 is in no way a "fair comparison".
