It happens pretty often. Sometimes I just can't get fired up about the games I have, even though I have a bunch I haven't played. That's not unique to gaming, though, as it happens with all my hobbies. I have books I've never read, even though I wanted to read them when I bought them. Sometimes the mood just isn't there. Sometimes something else takes my attention. Right now, I'm spending most of my time reading manga.

With gaming, I think my biggest problem is that I like some games a lot more than others, so if a new game isn't up to par, I get this ambivalent feeling and stop playing. I had to make myself finish Crysis 3 yesterday so rather than be disappointed by another new game, I half-way feel like re-installing Fallout 3, Dragon Age: Origins, or Borderlands.
