I just can't understand Why people are placing their expectations so high for this game.   Almost nothing of it has been shown to justify the hype.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but the talk of an engine based upon soft body physics is what caught my ear first.   The details just sound like it could turn out very cool.  Hopefully we'll see more encouraging stuff Tuesday.
