I just can't understand Why people are placing their expectations so high for this game. Almost nothing of it has been shown to justify the hype.

Because alot of us like to dream of the possibilities of a fully emersive soft bodied physics system allowing for much better interaction and destruction. We have been told just little snippets, aswell as "journalists" saying you have to see it to believe it, and you will be blown away.
and i wouldnt say its expectations as much as it is hope and dreams. lol
