Why I think this could be the last console gen. Has nothing to do with sales

Problem solved. The controller + the game is still waaaay cheaper than a console + a game.

As for mobile games being an extension of Facebook games, well yeah I agree, the thing that I'm trying to point out is that the new generation will not care about microtransactions, they will not care about wait timers. Candy Crush is the big thing now, but in 2 years it will be another thing, and then another, fads all over the industry, in music, movies and books, games are no different in that regard.
