Should Publishers follow the movie industry and force one platform per gen?

With that logic, one can only wonder why publishers supported platforms not PS2 during the 6th gen...

Oh! Because it doesn't matter which platform is on top, publishers will put games on a console that can move their games.

You know why Vita and Wii U isn't getting great support? Because they aren't very good at moving software. X1 does a better job at that even with a smaller userbase.

Yes because the original Xbox and GC had such amazing 3rd party support compared to the PS2 :P
