360 dead? Can't believe how quickly it went below 30k. It's not like One is stealing sales from it

Fun fact, both PS3 and 360 are down massively YoY.

09th Feb 2013

PS3 170,907 (-1%) 74,596,514
X360 133,157 (+9%) 75,717,186

X1 sales are respectable considering its the most expensive console on the market. That's an indication sales will be strong after price cuts. As was PS3.

WROOOONG! Xbone sales a disaster. MS is going to have to announce a $399.00 kinectless bone at E3 at least a year before they wanted to drop the price. Also dropping one of the biggest features they were pimping. PS4 will easily be outselling the Xbone 3:1 and that's a best case scenario. Unless MS straight up buys exclusivity for every major franchise this thing is DOA.

How am I wrong? We actually agree price cuts are necessary. I think there is a good chance the X1 with Kinect will be $399 by the end of the year.

PS4 is doing much better now, but does that mean all Xbox 360 owners are going to get a PS4? No, its likely PS3 fans buying a PS4 while Xbox fans are waiting for price cuts.

Sony gave away much of userbase during the 7th gen. The only way Sony is going to get it back is if MS gives it to them. Just bear in mind MS has more money to compete so lets wait and see what happens.

The price cut will come by E3. There will be a kinectless Xbox for $399.00 and they'll keep the price at $499.00 with kinect. Xbone is dead everywhere except North America but it's close to being on life support. They bungled this generation and unless they just drop trillions to get exclusivity for major franchises they're going to be outsod at least 2:1 world wide and maybe much worse.
