Back stories are nice and all but I want a real sequel. The story ended quite abruptly and there is still so much to tell. Probably even enough for a second sequel. The back stories could fit in those nicely though.

I wouldn't mind developing this into a franchise. Ellie in here late teens would be a nice thing. It didn't hurt Uncharted's narrative to span across multiple games. There is nothing forced about it since ND are obviously capable and they wouldn't rush out anything bad.

A lot of people would disagree with you on that....

Why would they? The story is far from over. What about a cure? What about the Fireflies? What about the world?

Do people really think all ends there and everyone lives happily ever after until everyone is dead and the earth becomes a lifeless rock?

That's not even including the development of the relationship of Ellie and Joel. What happens when Joel dies? Will Ellie be forever on the run from the Fireflies? Will she destroy them? Will she Sacrifice herself in the end? What new people are there to meet? Will she fall in love and have a child that's also immune?

There is so much stuff to tell in this world.  It could span over decades.
