You always make a jab at someone or a fanbase. In fact, it's almost the only kind of comments you make on anything here. And just so you know, that's nothing other than baiting. And you come off as a very whiny person in the process.
The downplay isn't generalized at all from those fanboys you speak of. But that's just like you to focus on that minor vocal part of those fanbases. From what I've seen recently, most of the downplay has been done for the technical aspects of the game. And it's arguably deserved: even on PC, based on the recently released PC screenshots, the game doesn't look next gen at all.
But yes, it does look like a very fun MP game. Even with the abysmally dumb cannon fodder A.I..

after playing the pc beta, its fun but only if you like the CoD style run and gun game with no teamwork at all, at least thats been my experience so far, the A.I. is nothing more then glorified bots, you can say otherwise but thats what they are. when your not in the mechs they become Bots. its fun but i just dont see it having staying power i see people getting bored of it quickly and with EA behind it in some form or fashion expect DLC and microtransactions galore.
