You really think this person at all, will be reformed? I think he gave up right to a second chance when he attacked a bunch of people on the most peaceful of days.

I'm not an expert. What I think is irrelevant.

The court made a judgement that I'd support before that of a forum-goer any day.

That is the maximum punishment in Norway sadly. Given they will never release him, as long as he is deemed danger to society, which he always will be, thankfully they had that in the rules.  Also honestly that philosphy isn't great either (Not saying mine is). Courts are bound by the law exists for them, pretty sure if harasher punishment was allowed they would have.  I am actually alright with the punishment system in Nordic nations compared to the United States (Outside of that it might too good), unless you involve mass murder of children.

The system isnt too bad until you come to the conclusion that wether you kill one person or 70, you get the same punishment.

I do think that in the case of mass murdurers every country should have a special clause to allow the death penalty. There are some cases where the person cant be allowed to live anymore, for the sake of all those that didnt because of him/her. That guys needs to be shot in cold blood.

Can you imagine if you lost a dear one to that bastard? Would you be ok with him walking around and demanding better treatment? Hes lucky he isnt beein roughed up on a daily basis, cause that is what he deserves.

Like the brazillian guy showed, they should send him to a brazillian jail for a year. Ah! He would be thankful when he got back, or he would be killed there. Both of wich are satisfactory results.
