You see, in the fast-paced hack-and-slash genre, I'm consistently baffled that developers like Sony Santa Monica, Ninja Theory, or Crytek continue to target 30 fps (and fail, in Ryse's case). What's up with that? Are they trying to make the best game in its genre, or the best graphical showcase? :P DMC4, Metal Gear Rising, and Bayonetta (360 version lol) are simply the smoothest, least laggy hack-and-slash titles of the seventh genreation, and I'm happy to see Platinum contuning the trend with Bayonetta 2. Kudos for putting playability first.
