Has it come to this? Nintendo fans so desperate to defend their console that they question the only official industry numbers, the ones tht the industry itself goes by?
WHY are Nintendo fans so defensive? I have a Wii U & a 3DS, but I don't feel like denying the reality of the current situation just because I love Nintendo games.

Just because Nintendo is officially doing terrible at console sales, console game release schedule, and profit does not mean that acknowleding these facts is 'hate.'
I would argue that IGNORING these facts and INSULTING people who acknowledge them is something closer to hate than the things you are attacking.
This is a CAPITALIST situation: you are defending Nintendo's business misteps as though they are a THEOCRATIC DICTATOR that must be defended at all costs.
