Speaking for myself, I want more single player games. Microsoft has the online FPS crowd with Titanfall exclusivity and various map pack deals. Killer Instinct is there for the fighting game crowd. What's in it for someone who loves single player games? Ryse is much too short and Dead Rising 3 is not enough to make me buy a $500 console.
Games like Quantum Break, D4, and Fable are getting my interest. They might get me to buy the Xbox One. Fable, Alan Wake, and Oblivion are why I got my 360.
Second, I feel like the Xbox One is not for me. I am not the type of gamer Microsoft is marketing to. I am not into online games and prefer Hulu and Netflix to cable. Single player exclusives are pretty much the only way I will buy an Xbox One.
