Twilight Princess on Wii sold nearly 7 million and is the 2nd best selling Zelda ever. It was a huge launch title. Like i said both the Wii and PS2 were very appealing to casuals and the hardcore. Hardcores try to bash the Wii now, but for atleast 4 years they were all over it too. Gamecube was just a hardcore console. 360 was just a hardcore console until Kinect came out and Call of Duty became a mainstream casual title. |
7M still pales in comparison to what the games in the "Wii" series sold.
Why would people who are not interested in games buy a PS2 when all they want is a DVD player and they could get one for a lower price? You're forgeting that more than 50M PS2s were sold after 2006.
