The discussions has been done to death. Its not like last gen when there were not so clear cut differences between the PS3 and 360 - although the Xbox 360 did hold better versions of mutiplatform games (like most of them, ealier in the gen). But now both consoles are very similar in design, there's not so much to talk about in regards to 'power'.
I think its mainly due to smug/sly digs at the opposition.. especially when they're on the winning side. Some people like to rub it in I guess.
