Looking at recent vgchartz numbers I can only say that this is a very weak argument.

This game is getting an incredible amount of buzz (wether you think it deserves that hype or not) and will no doubt increase sales of the console tremedously, while the PS4 remains stagnant.

Little bit of information here. Remember Gears of War 1? That game also generated a ton of buzz and it released in November to top it of. Gears of War boosted 360 sales in its release week by about 40k units. That might give a little perspective about what can be expeccted of Titanfall.

I don't know about the specific launch week numbers, but MGS4 gave the PS3 a 200k hardware boost for that month-- doubling its previous numbers. And that was just the North American boost.
