Interesting. I think Diddy and Dixie will be separate characters, but it would make sense to have them together, it would be like DKC2, in a way. Also, Diddy's B down move is the banana peel, and since tripping has been removed, that would make room for a new move...of course, it might just be random tripping that was removed and not tripping in general. Regardless, there's no chance of Cranky, I don't think. It just wouldn't make sense, and he's not that popular of a character. Contrary to popular belief, it is NOT the year of Cranky, and never will be. As for K. Rool, I'd love to have him playable. The series needs more villains, and K. Rool is the one everyone cares about from the Donkey Kong series. However, I don't see it as likely. K. Rool, while he has a stronger legacy than any other DK villain, simply isn't as relevant now. He'd still be welcome, but in terms of priority, I think Dixie comes first, then K. Rool. One thing's for sure, there will be at least one more Donkey Kong character besides DK himself.
