I really want Dixie Kong and K. Rool, but the likelihood of DK getting 4 reps is pretty low so I voted for Dixie Kong as a stand alone character. She could be a wolf like clone of Diddy Kong with bubblegum moves and her ponytail to differentiate her moveset.
Also if Diddy and Dixie were a pair, I would imagine them walking together like in DKC2 and when you press down B they slap each others hands and switch in just like how you switch characters in DKC2.
