The 75 million was for both Reckoning and Project Copernicus as far as I know. I wouldn't exactly call it "no name" either, Reckoning sold nearly 2 million copies, pretty good for a new IP, and the game had some big names attached to it, namely RA Salvatore (a bestselling fantasy novelist), Todd McFarlane (a popular comic book artist), and Ken Rolston (lead gameplay designer for TES III: Morrowind and TES: IV Oblivion).

Agreed it had some pretty big names behind it and Reckoning was pretty popular.
