The way I see it the fact that last gen Sony + Microsoft sold 160 million units, and the previous Gen Sony Alone sold 157 million units, tells me that the (hardcore) market has now grown that much. The 157 millions of Sany just got split by half.
These gen less consoles will be sold, mainly because the casuals are still satisfied with their own Wii in the same way that a normal family is still satisfied with their 10 years old Monopoly game.
I think only Sony can sell more than 100 million units, and it may be one of the last console generations before the netflix for videogames is invented.
Nintendo should be happy if they do N64 numbers, and Microsoft should be happy if they outsell Super Nintendo.
