Capcom has never seemed to have a good relationship with Sony. Even in the Saturn days they released many games on the Saturn that weren't ported to the PS or were noticably inferior. About the only time the reverse may have been true was RE, but they even made attempts to get the RE series off the PS with Code Veronica on the DC and the exclusive deal that fell through with Nintendo. They just don't like Sony.
