You are right hype will fade, but that where games come in.  They rekindle that hype.  Why has sony been taking their sweet ass time with exclusives, casue they can.  Ps4 is selling to damn well to rush any game.  And when they finaly drop they will be shined polished to perfection, no rush jobs no good games that could have been great.

This is the console of this gen, the consumer #1 choice. 

See thats the problem, you think it's in the bag already. We are 3 months in. Not years bro. My god. You can't tell the future as much as I can't but as MS walked out of the DRM ok, they will make adjustments along the way.  They can drop to 399 with Kinect by fall of next year with no issue. Sony cannot, they need profits now.  They are losing everywhere accept PS4, they will keep the price as high as they can for as long as they can.

This is all opion and no one can tell the future, not even you homeslice.

At 399 they are still the same price, ps4 would still be outselling x1 weekly. Again I repeat, how will x1 outsaell weekly wiothout europe or japan?

 

MS wont drop the price and lose money just for the sake of it...

 

I heard all last gen : Sony cannot afford it MS has money" how did that work out? PS4 will also drop in price like every gen.
