Being the best selling Infamous is as relevant as talking about wether the Wii U or the Vita is selling better week by week. They are both selling like shit. Infamous as a brand has no brand recognition. No one but the hardest of core gamers will ever even here of Infamous. Everyone and their mother will know about Titanfall because it appeals to casuals and the mass market. It's also an online multiplayer game, which means it has better legs and replay value. No straight thinking person could think that Infamous stands a chance. It doesn't matter how new of an IP Titanfall is. You're comparing a mountain to a mole hill. One week is insignifigant to a game like that. Stop acting so personally hurt by it. No one is arguing that Titanfall will be better, but it will obvioulsly sell better, the same way COD and FIFA and GTA are always top sellers regardless of quality. Infamous will never have the audience to compete with a game like Titanfall, and that's fine. |
You mad?? Who said I was hurt? Infamous second son IS the game that will move infamous forward, it will be big. Look at pre-orders, they are neck and neck, europe will be more slanted towards INfamous. Many think it has a chance because it does. TF is not some unstoppable juggernaut, it is a new iP on a system that is selling a low slower then ps4, in an over crowded genre. No single player is also going to limit it.
First 2 infamous games are irrelevant, ss will be vastly bigger. Sony is going to push it hard and it has a lot of hype. Many casual gamers here know about it and plan on getting a ps4 when it drops. So there goes you "It has no recognition". It being the first big AAA exclusive on PS4 will move a lot of units.
You are in for a surprise. TF is not going to be that big, even EA has conservative estimates about the game.
