You mean just how everyone spread FUD about Xbox not being a games machine? Sony is marketing the PS4 as a games machine and it will never been seen as a multimedia device. MS is marketing the Xbox One as an entertainment device. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

You're defending the interviewees information by saying "well that's because it was fanboys who said xbox was a casual movie machine and ps4 was a games machine, so obviously he's going to get it wrong". You also defend it by saying it's marketing's fault. He's a developer who should be intimately involved in the consoles, not relying on internet posts.

Why are Sony fans always portrayed as hypocrites, when nobody can ever show a real example of hypocrisy?

PS: My assumption to what he meant was that xbox has these other OS's you have to deal with, and its structure is different than a purebreed gaming environment like ps4's structure is. His mispeak was simply a miscommunication. PS4 can do most of what xb1 can with media (obviously not things like snap, or hdmi-in), it's just that the hardware is built specifically for gaming type software. Media and streaming is a secondary function.

It's sort of like how a shopping cart is designed to carry your groceries and makes an excellent transportation for children, and a car is designed for transportation, but you could always put groceries on the seats.
