Blockade and Rainmaker are who started all this, they started making the movie by their own, no cash involvend, they showed it to Sony, who enjoyed the idea and green lighted it with a small budget! Even though a game sequel was already discarded! After that they made deals to make Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper Movies with bigger budgets also are on the work to sign more movies... Jak & Daxter/ModNation rumored
