Nope. Never. Gamers have spoken. All we want are analog controllers on TVs. No virtual reality, no motion controls, no nothing. Better images. That's it.

Occulus Rift and Kinect ?

I'm already putting a group together to reject that device as soon as it's released.  We don't like Kinect, Wii U Pads, Wii Remotes, 3D glasses, Playstation Move, Power Gloves, Guitar Hero, or anything.  Even if its a success, we will shun that "gimmick".  Better frame rates.  Higher resolution.  That's all we allow.  We fear change.

So says the mainstream gamer.

I think VR will take off, its getting nothing but love in the PC space and genuinely adds to the emersion/enjoyment of games accross multiple genres. An affordable price and widespread support (which its already gaining in main stream and indie games) is all it needs. One of the big three pushing it in a meaningful way to gamers would help. No one had problems with the Wiimote and nunchuck, we did have problems with how it was implemented in games and the Wiis other hardware capabilities, or lack thereof. Kinect is great but on its own feels incomplete, it has limited use. Kinect + VR = win.  Everything else you listed would come off as a gimmick to most mainstream gamers, they haven't done anything game changing.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
