So I recently decided to take up a hobby I had as a kid, that being RC models (yeah yeah big kid playing with toy cars etc). Decided I'd try and find myself the one I had as a kid and was able to not only buy an old (original) boxed kit unused but the original Futaba Attack SR controller i used to have, too!
I then went on Yahoo auctions (japan) and bought a used Super Hornet to mess about with, so I'm now the proud owner of a new unused 1984 Tamiya Super Hornet and a used one that I will be undertaking various mods such as uprated motor, speed controller and Li-po battery upgrade.
As I have a gen5 replicator 3D printer I'll be attempting to build my own based off of the running gear for the Super hotshot, too.

Soooo.. anyone else around here familiar with these old RC? (yes yes, even if you ran an old nyko click and go!)
