This hurts to say, but I think that mobile does shooters better than consoles.

I've tried playing racing games, FPS's, RPG's, TPS's on the iPhone and they are not nearly as fun or accurate or anywhere near the level of a console game in any way, shape or form. iPhone games are ten minute pleasers when waiting in line or on the bus. I'd take keyboard or touch-pad, analog over touch-pad, mouse over touch-pad...you get the point.
