Prices will finally go down for a lot of things! Right?
Lighter but stronger aircraft means less fuel. Plus you can make carbon from scratch right?

who is making this? Time to buy stock now! I would imagine most companies will be doing this.

By the way, have you heard of that new stop wet spray that is on youtube? Nothing sticks to it. Water is instantly repelled! I cannot remember the name, but that is amazing as well!

As far as I'm aware no company is openly working on this besides universities and research labs. And I wouldn't get your hopes up for prices to suddenly drop as it's been producable since 2004.

Also, that nano coating material that repells water- definaly going to buy as much as that as I can when it's finally bought to market.

Oh good you saw it. Made by rustoleum? Is that the name? Total repell or something. Anyways. It is amazing. Did not matter what they threw on this guys shirt, it just slipped right off.

@ Gilgamesh

Is this how you thought this thread would go? With everyone saying it is not as great as it was when you totally sold me on it?

I can't remember who made it, but it's awsome and actually will come to the market.

The problem with Graphene isn't that it's not a good material, in many ways it's amazing. The problem is that the only known method of reliably getting it is to put some gaphine on some tape and keep folding it until you get a layer of carbon one atom thick. If mass production was possible then it would be amazing, but until then its basically useless.
