...But at the same time, the reasoning for XBLA is for indie developers to be able, via XNA and other methods, to publish a game that would otherwise never see the light of day on the 360 or other system since publishing a game does require massive resources.
And because of that, I can certainly see the need for increasing the limits to various levels - what if an indie developer wanted to make an epic, downloadable title, but didn't have the cash to publish it? XBLA and PSN can fulfill those wishes with proper size limits, but being able to "bend" should the need arise.
