The definition of 'replace' doesnt allow the PS4 to be a replacement of the PS3, at the very best its a simultaneously manufactured product.
The notion that PS3 sales are no longer count because PS4 is ridiculous anyway.

Im not saying its still 7th gen, im just saying the number you give it doesnt change the fact that its still an active product.
