Yeah. Why would it be ilegitimately? Because it annoys a lot of people?

I think it depends on the type of game and type of camping. But Spawn Camping/Killing is very very annoying if done to you.

It definitely is, but it's kinda the developers job to make these things impossible. Telling people not to do it isn't gonna stop them, people know that it's a cheap tactic and that people are considered assholes for doing it, if you still do it then you just don't care what other think about your playstyle.

Infinity Ward with COD4 and MW2 made it difficult to camp because there were so many different ways to get to any spot on the maps. Regarding spawn camping, Halo made it a strategy to control the other team's spawn when you're ahead. Not necessarily camping it but making sure they dont spawn behind you and then call out that spot for your team. That's one of the things Halo 4 kept intact.

I've never camped so hard as I have on MW2. Claymore re-ups with Scavenger perk made it possible to have two out at once covering two entry points while I'd be picking dudes off out of windows and shit. If they destroy the Claymore, guess what, I'd know they were coming. If the Claymore kills them, scoop up another and replant. It was so unfair combined with a 5.1 headset.  Black Ops was the Camera Spike.

Anyway I love to camp on MW games but never on Halo. The hate mail I receive is precious, that's when I know I'm doing it right :)

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
