Even if Sony goes bankrupt, I'm fairly sure someone will surely buy the SCE division - the PlayStation brand and all studios and stuff. "Sony" will be dead, but alive. Makes no sense.
Edit: I ended up not answering the OP: it's not really hard to be a fan of any of the three, as all of them make games with a fairly high frequency. If someone is a fan of the company, it's because of the games, and they deliver it. Microsoft is completely stable, Nintendo is not going anywhere and neither is Sony because of the reason above. So there you go.
