I liked the part about 60/30 fps and he is exactly right. If an Xbone game gets revealed to be 30 fps it's the end of the world, the console is doomed and holy shit, why not just play on the Atari 2600 because damn bro, do you even lift? 30 fps is so last gen 1080p60 or bust.

But then The Order is revealed to be 30, and potentially 900p, and oh man it's totally cool guys! It's cinematic!

The Nintendo stuff, they dominated last gen, of course they are going to get a lot of venom now that they are failing.

seems you missed the boat on what was said. ill tell you, its okay. IF 1080p THEN 30fps is fine. IF not 1080p, THEN 60 fps is necessary.

the point was to move forward you need either 1080p or 60 fps, ideally both. this reductionist "standard" is quite clearly absurd though as it excludes considerations such as improved models and physics.

so far, the sony games were suitable to this inept standard which is why it was promulgated for so long.

on the multiplat front, if xbone is running 720p 30fps as opposed to ps4 at 1080p 60fps, or any superior combination then you surely can see why this argument holds, while possibly still failing to live up to the "standard" (say ps4 900p 30fps vs xbone 720p 30fps). it's an objective metric by which to offer comparison.
