there's a greater amount of playstation fans than either microsoft or nintendo fans...so obviously negative sony-related news tends to get glossed over whereas negative news for microsoft and nintendo get magnified.
sony has sold the most consoles over the past few generations (I assume anyway), and that dominance is reflected in their popularity over the internet. Likewise, Nintendo's falling userbase seems to be reflected in its dwindling fan base.
