He isnt really wrong about what he is saying.  (He is talking about N4G)

"If nintendo would have lost 1.1b which is over 3x more than what they lost everybody would have been talking about it, but instead nobody is talking about it."

"The Order 1886 gets announced 30fps and  "its okay".  When microsoft announces 30fps it gets blasted."

These are both examples he uses, not mine but he is right.  He also says it isnt just the sony fanbase that does this stuff, he just believes theyre the main perpetrators of hypocricy and damage control.

I think the difference here is that Sony announced changes that are going to fix their problems, like letting go of PC and eventually TV.  Nintendo would have given some PR talk or said "please understand."  This is why Sony's stock actually went up, not down with the news.

And to the 2nd, 30FPS is fine on an exclusive (edit: multiplats, as well), if that's what the studio aims for.  And as long as its actually stable.  However, the Xbox One is having to sacrifice resolution AND FPS to achieve visuals that are on par (quite often less so) than the PS4, most notably on multiplats.  Basically, most gamers are looking for a leap to justify their purchase and the PS4 is delivering, while making full use of their HD TVs.  It's one of the reasons the core market is flocking to Sony in a big way.

First, I hope you realized that Sony is "announcing" changes and plans to fix their problems almost every quarters? So no, it is not different and it is not because this time it "seems" to more drastic that it is a good thing. Sony is losing investors money quarters after quarters...

Second, please stop generalizing... If "most" gamers would really be looking only for that, I do not think we would have 3.4 millions Xbox One sold as of today. Even if Sony has an advantage, it is far from being "most" gamers and/or "core market" :) And Jay is right about the 30 FPS, last time I checked people were not complaining about multiplatform only (or maybe Ryse is available on another platform?), same will happen with Titanfall when we will know the FPS (if it is not 60FPS). When a game is at 30FPS on the PS4, it is very quiet and there is not a PS fans posting a thread/creating a drama every 5 minutes to talk about it like the Xbox One...

Sorry but the guy is right about the good amount of hypocricy and damage control here and there...

I think chopping off their PC and TV departments doesn't need a "seems," as it is drastic.  And apparently investors liked the decision.  At least, so far.

Even if the One has sold 3.4M, its sales are slowing much faster than the PS4s and the gap is growing every week.  One is going to sell quite a bit less in EU and will be dead on arrival in Japan.  If rumors are true, Sony took Jan NPD quite handedly.  We'll have to wait and see if that is true, but even if it isn't, MS will not win the US easily.  It will basically be tied.  So yea, most gamers are choosing the PS4.

As for Ryse, it was a very unstable 30FPS (which even dipped into the teens) AND 900P.  Again, just another example of the One's lesser power.  If Titanfall is less than 1080P, with the graphics it has now, AND 30FPS, yes it will be brought up.  And sorry, those aren't just Sony fans.  There are plenty of gamers jumping ship.  So some that may have once bashed the PS3 for its inferior multiplats are now bashing the One for its.

Of course, you also have plenty of people who spent hours in DF threads while the 360/PS3 multiplat battle raged on.  Making large deals out of little details.  But now that the PS4 is the clear winner, "only fanboys care about graphics and FPS."  Now, that's true hypocrisy.
