If it was legalized, the dealers who only distribute marijauna would probably just join the new marijauna industry and start paying taxes. Sounds terrible. 


Drug dealing is about money not paying taxes. And yes meth is a huge problem let me say that again HUGE problem.


Try to keep up with me. Legal industries pay taxes. It's one of the things they have to do to stay legal. Also, people employed in said industries pay income tax, and as you note, black market dealers do not.

Legal industries are also about money, but without those annoying criminal records or negotiations involving knives.
