I hope time will prove me wrong... I really, really do. But I can't see how it's possible to be excited for this thing for many reasons...

 

• Not developed by the Sonic team. Worst, developed by a western dev (ill mention this reason, altho it is possible that it end up being a good thing).
• Developed along side a tv show and toys... Now this is the biggest reason why I'm afraid for this project. This means that the game will obviously be aimed for young kids above everything else.
• We get to play as other character other than Sonic... This is usualy crap. Can anyone really say they had alot of funs playing with other characters? Adventure 2 was ''fine'' when playing as other character, but the best parts of the game were by far the Sonic/Shadow moments. The fact that we get to play as Amy and Tails does everything but excite me and it tells me that they made it that way only to sell toys.

I could be wrong, but these reasons are enough to take this game with a grain of salt. But it is a ambitious project, hopefully the reboot will help Sonic as a franchise and the TV show and toys will get popular enough to sell WiiUs.

Also, that part of the TV trailer where Eggman says ''It's not egghead, my name is Eggman!''... MAJOR FACEPALM. His name is ROBOTNIK.
