What in your opinion is the root of the problem of third party games selling notably worse on Nintendo consoles then? And mind you, as is shown in the article this happened on the GC as well, so the "inferior port" argument, doesn't explain it.

Nintendo of course, not it's fanbase. Nintendo fans bought third party games in the Wii, Just Dance is an example, I'm sure there are others.

The GC was not a desireable product at all. It was Nintendo's fault that people weren't drawn to it.

Really? Nintendo fans bought these third party games on the Wii? Nintendo fans bought Just Dance? No, the casuals bought those games, not the Nintendo fans, those casuals that now have zero interest in the Wii U.

So what you're saying is that it was Nintendos fault that they couldn't get non Nintendo fans on board with the GC to buy third party games?

It's funny how you treat casual gamers as people who can't be Nintendo fans. They all have one thing in common though, they are all customers.

Yes it was Nintendo's fault, if people aren't buying the Wii U  is not the consumer who is wrong, it's Nintendo and it's approach with the system that is at fault.
