I'll make a summary of the article for you guys!

The main problem seems to be that Nintendo fans don't buy enough third party support. That gives the signal to third parties that Nintendo's systems are not a platform where they should make games.

He also says that buying a Nintendo console for Nintendo games alone is being a close minded person. He also seems to dislike Pokemon, Mario and Zelda and enjoys third party games on Nintendo's systems. He is kind of an odd ball if you ask me.

In conclusion he thinks that Nintendo's current situation is not by Nintendo itself but because of it's fanboys.

The "nintendo fans don't buy third parties" is not accurate. They will buy games towards the market they created. Look at the high sales of casual third party games on wii. Nintendo fans are not interested in the same third party as Sony and microsoft.
