I totally disagree. I think Nintendo's problem is the focus of the market changed to western games and the western market consideres their games "kiddy" because they are mainly an adolecent bunch with need to try and prove their adulthood.
That then results in alot of hate and with the widespread of the internet it become entrenched everywhere.
So, no. I would say Nintendo's problems are the haters. But, theres nothing they can do about that except improve themselves.
Definitly not related to fanboys at all. Fanboys are the ones keeping Nintendo afloat and beeing mature enough to be able to enjoy their games without calling out how kiddy they are, but how enjoyable the gameplay is.
This does end up on less 3rd party sales, but again, i think that is the result of the issue i originally brought up.
