And it didn't ship in a late week of December.

December 29th for example isn't he last week of december... it's the first week of January.

Dec 29th is part of 2013 until Jan 4th... 2014 started in Jan 5.

But for financial results they use the right day for the end of the year (31th Dec).

4.2m is SOLD TO CONSUMERS at Dec 28th.

They shipped 7.8m consoles in 2013... nobody knows how much is PS4 or PS3.
