Production maked with 2013 shipment need to be posted in the last quarter... if they shipped the units in late week of December then it is last quarter shipment... after that it can reach the stores in early January and be sold in Jan 4th for example but the units are from December shipment.
My gusses is mininum of 1 weeks of December to maximum of 2 weeks of December reach the stores in Jamuary... so 4.4m to 4.6m shipped in 2013 if Sony is producing ~200k per week.... 1 week is if they used some air trasport to make the travel faster.
