lol they bought a small team with an ok track record. No reason to expect them to go after much larger publishers and dev teams.

1: Amazon is Rich

2: Heavy rumors of their own console

3: Its has been heard they've beeen collecting people of gaming talent for the past two years from microsoft and other places

I think its reasonable to think they know they need to buy some big tier studious to be taken seriously. Sega and Platinum games and the world will cry and acknowledge them.

1-4 do not mean they are going to go out and buy big guys like SEGA. Let's do the same for Microsoft.

1: Microsoft is super rich

2: Have their own console

3: Regularly collect people of gaming talent from Sony and other places.

4: They bought Press Play.

 

No one expects Microsoft to buy SEGA or Platinum lol.

The difference is Microsoft is already established in the market. They already have a lot of first party studios. Amazon does not so they will be more proactive in getting some good  first party studios.

Microsoft are more worried about pumping out exclusives from their current 1st partys to survive the PS4 onslaught. Amazon are more worried about actually getting some good first party studios lest they want to be obliterated on arrival.  Which is why its more probable for them to do this bold move than Microsoft
